DocBook 4.x

The version 4.x releases are the current, official releases of DocBook. DocBook V4.x is defined normatively with XML and SGML DTDs.

The Technical Committee provides the DocBook 4.x schemas in other schema languages, including RELAX NG and W3C XML Schema, but the XML DTD is the normative schema.
